Bowood Hotel, Spa, And Golf Resort - Chippenham (Wiltshire)

A relaxing spa experience with great treatments.

Dinner portions were too small for the price paid.

The place was stylish and delightful, with its accommodating staff from the receptionists and barmen. The rooms were huge and had hypoallergenic pillows. The bed was extremely comfy, a bath worked well.

I had a wonderful time enjoying afternoon tea served by attentive staff in a cozy atmosphere while taking in the fine gardens just a short walk away, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.

Variety of incredible food for meals. Extremely comfy beds and lovely views. Nice swimming pool and incredible location just off nature and high quality services, Bowood House and Bowood House and Gardens.

The bathrooms were not really clean

Fantastic pool, gym, bed linen, decor, interesting library, gorgeous menus, fabulous grounds, I need to come back and play the golf course, but or looks splendid.

Friendly staff, excellent facilities. We were provided with baby cot, bath and changing mat for our baby girl. Room was spotless, spacious and comfortable. We had a great time and would come back again.

The hotel was lovely and situated in scenic grounds. The staff were very friendly and the standard of the hotel was very high. We had a. very enjoyable stay and our 11 month old loved the pool.

The food was a bit overpriced, but probably to be expected given the setting. It aspired to fine dining but didn't quite pull it off, although was tasty. The brasserie welcomed children, but the fine dining restaurant didn't, although at extra cost they will serve you in your room. The pool can only be used by children for about an hour and a half in the morning and the same in the afternoon. We didn't know this until we arrived so missed the first days swimming. This ought to be clearer. Obviously a swim nappy is required. Room was not as big as the photo but was still very nice and we weren't worried.

Immaculate and luxurious hotel with lovely staff.

A bit far from anywhere.... So taxi fares are expensive.

Excellent service and the neighbouring Bowood House and Gardens were a hidden treasure. Could spend lazy afternoons by the lake. The spa facilities overlook the golf course which is a pleasant view, and I was impressed by the aromatherapy shower. All in all - a good weekend get-away!

Totally recommend for a lightning stop

Beautiful hotel, amazing spa, the treatments were really good and the indoor swimming pool was a relaxing oasis after our adventures in the surrounding area.

Everything was first-rate.

Loved this hotel at the price we got it for, don't think any hotel room is worth around £200 per night anywhere. Quiet rooms, lovely Pool & Spa would stay again.

Very good location and modern well fitted facilities, very comfortable room, nice swimming pool.

Limited dining facilities . The food (variety and quality) in the brasserie does not quite live up to the surroundings. We did not have dinner in the main restaurant but breakfast was of variable quality.
